Wild Wyoming

Rugged and rustic, back ways and byways, majestic and mammoth, snowy slopes and sonorous streams-Wyoming is all this much more. Wyoming is a state of “firsts”-- It is the home of America’s first national park (Yellowstone), its first national monument (Devil’s Tower), its first national forest (the Shoshone), the world’s largest mineral hot spring (Thermopolis) and it was the first state to give women the right to vote (1869).

You can spend a day traversing its breathtakingly beautiful hills and valleys by snow mobile or skis, going fishing for trout, walleye, and other fish species in its many streams, lakes and rivers, horseback riding or hiking on its wooded trails, or go hunting for big game like antelope, moose, black bear and deer on its wide open ranges and shaded meadows.

Wyoming has numerous rodeos where you can see what it takes to rope a calf, ride a bucking bronco or lasso a steer. When it comes to rest and relaxation, you can choose rejuvenation at full service resorts, “roughing it” as you camp out under the stars, or get a taste of the cowboy’s life as you stay one of the many dude ranches throughout the state.

With so many opportunities for adventure, you are sure to have a fantastic time in Wyoming! So pack your bags, grab your boots and hat, and come see what what’s happen in Wyoming!
